1m fits the cube 2 run fine - doesn’t need to be too precise as it fits at an angle
Fixed level with two steps down from the coop door and they fly onto it

My 4 chickens love this perch. It was easy to install and I have adjusted the height as my little ones have grown. They free range during the day, but when it gets close to night time, they come into their 9 foot Omlet Run and relax on their perch before they head into the coop for the night

We fixed our perch outside the Eagle run, in a day space. For months we thought the girls didn't use the perch as we never saw them on it. Then winter came and lots of mud claw marks appeared on it! We caught the girls using the perch once when we crept down the garden so they couldn't hear us. Now we know the secret, we catch them on it often - until they hear us coming and rush to the door!

Quick & easy limbo pole - Sheena,
Very easy to erect. I have the 2m pole in my 2m x 2m x1m run for my ex battery older ladies. It took a while before they realised they could do more than just limbo under it. It was funny watching them almost nose to tail following each other Limboing under it, but now as they get used to daylight and grass, they're loving their new toys.

Think this is essential to any new owner purchasing an Omlet run. The bird’s natural instinct is to perch, and needs to be encouraged for leg strength. This perch is hard wearing and strong, easy to fit and adjust. Watching the hens use it together to rest and preen made me realise what an essential piece of kit this is.

When I first installed the perch my flock of four feathered friends didn’t pay it any attention. Having just this week introduced two newbies into the mix it has been an invaluable vantage point from which the two little ones can survey their new coop mates - and escape out of reach should things get a little heated as the flock adjusts and reestablishes the pecking order! Can’t fault it. Highly recommended.

Didn't know if my chickens would use it, Took a couple of days of them getting use to it, but once they did, they absolutely love it. Not hard to install, but recommend installing before putting front of encloser on as I had to crawl in the encloser and install because my Omlet Go Up was already put together.

When we set up the coop, the hens seemed hesitant about going in by way of the ladder. (Older hens, set in their ways) We moved the perch closer to the ladder, and now they easily fly up to the perch and then hop to the top of the ladder. Glad we got it!
