Glad I tried this. The feeder tells me every day when it opens and closes and when it's low on food, and I can see the battery status. I wish they had a smart waterer that showed when it was running low as well!

A well made and presented item. Super easy to put together and so much easier for me, and the chickens, to keep topped up with fresh water. Currently using the provided cups which they all took to pretty quickly.

The new Omlet insulated drinker is really good. The chickens quickly took to using the nipple options on the outlet ports as I wanted the water to remain clean for them and it stays lovely and cold in the warm weather. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the price as it is definitely a considered purchase.

We purchased 2 11 litre feeders for our flock of chickens and ducks and they took to them straight away. Very easy to put together and cleaning them is a dream! Thank you Omlet

I’ve tried quite a few different poultry drinkers over the years, and this is by far one of the best I’ve used. Keeping water clean can be a constant battle when you keep birds, but this has made a noticeable difference. The insulation helps keep the water cooler in hot weather and slows down freezing during colder spells. More importantly, the design does exactly what it says on the tin – it stays remarkably clean. My chickens and quail are constantly scratching, kicking bedding about and generally making a mess of everything, yet the water stays fresh far longer than with traditional drinkers. As someone building a resilient food system, anything that reduces daily maintenance while improving animal welfare is a win in my book. Less time cleaning drinkers means more time focusing on the rest of the system. Now, let’s be honest, it isn’t cheap. In fact, it’s probably one of those purchases that makes you wince slightly when you click the buy button. But after using it, I’d say it’s 100% worth the money. The build quality is excellent, it’s easy to refill, easy to clean, and it simply works. Sometimes buying the right thing once is cheaper than buying the wrong thing three times. It’s quickly become one of those bits of kit I wouldn’t want to be without. Highly recommended for anyone serious about keeping poultry properly. Five stars from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My chickies are still young, in their 6th week, and they took to the feeder within a day or so in their 4th week when we were forced to move to the coop because they had enough of their brooder! Good thing too because I left the old chick feeders in a few days and found one morning a stuck chick trying to get the last out! I was grateful for the Omlet feeders and felt confident everyone was eating out of it. Truly it is no waste and worth the cost. I will have to move them to my coop at night and feel confident that I will have no critters because I hardware clothed the heck out of it. The only downsides are that its easily perchable and since they are still chicks (albeit big) they needed it on the ground which meant bedding in the holes which means sooo heard for me to clean that out now that I filled it with food... But thats is a temporary problem.
