Doesn’t keep chickens in - Peter,

Our 3 chickens all flew over the top of the fence within 10 minutes - so pretty much a waste of time unless you put a net over the top

Omlet Says: Hi Peter, Thank you very much for your review, it is very important to us to be able to improve our products. The overall height of our fencing is approximately 1.25m, which is actually taller than most chicken fencing. However, if you find that your chickens still manage to fly away, I would recommend you to have a look at clipping the wings of your chickens. It is very easy to do and it does not hurt your chickens. You can find a step by step guide on our website, in our guides for chickens. Here is a link to access to that guide: We stay at your disposal if you need any further information, Best Regards, Clemence, Omlet Customer Services

Beware if you have other critters in the area - Jeff,

I’ve had this fence for two weeks and I guess it was a possum that Ate a hole in the back corner in the fence. Now, I have new holes after patching old holes. Every few nights, there’s a new whole, and then I have chickens everywhere. Great idea in theory if you’re in a concrete jungle, but this fence won’t hold up too much. I live inside the city and have just a few big trees in the area. Even my large chickens have managed to break a few pieces of fence.
Review for: Omlet Chicken Fencing Mk2 - 138ft - inc. Gate, Poles and Guy Lines

Omlet Says: Good morning Jeff, thank you for your review. Unfortunately this fencing isn't predator proof, it is only intended as a means of keeping your chickens in a contained area. This is really helpful feedback though. I will make sure to pass it onto our product design team as it's definitely something we can look into.

Disappointing - Cindy,

I was excited to purchase this product as I was hoping it would solve my problems by allowing my chickens to roam but not have free range and destroy my garden. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed with the product and as such, have not been able to use it and it is now collecting dust in the shed. The fencing is advertised as being high enough to keep the chickens in - within an hour one could escape and by the end of the day all 3 were able to escape. The fencing itself feels filmsy and even when securing it to the ground with the pegs and ties it started to sag. I would be concerned how secure this would be in windy condtions. Back to the drawing the board.

Omlet Says: Thanks for your review Cindy. I'm sorry to hear that you aren't all that satisfied with your purchase! We usually recommend that if your chickens are able to escape our fencing that you clip their wings, this is of course completely safe and painless for them. If this is something you might consider, I have pasted a link to our YouTube tutorial of it which might be of some use to you - In regards to the fence sagging, the guy ropes should help the fence to stand up straight and minimise the flimsiness. I hope you find some of the above useful and I will still be sure to pass your feedback onto the rest of our team.
