The Eglu Go Hutch Guinea Pig Hutch can be ordered with a 6ft attached run, perfect for 2-3 guinea pigs to play in. The strong, steel weld mesh construction provides a fully-enclosed space, complete with anti-tunnel skirting to prevent predators from digging into their run. The open-floor design gives your guinea pigs constant contact with the ground to promote healthy foot health and to prevent injury.

The run comes ready to assemble in flat-packed sections, with a dark green coating to match a variety of backdrops. The run height has a tapered design, with the front reaching 38.2in for easy owner access. The door of the run can be placed at the end, or in place of any of the side panels.

The Eglu Go Hutch is suitable for two to three guinea pigs.

While the strong materials and thought out design makes it extremely hard for predators to get to your pets, no hutch is 100% predator proof. Check the hutch and run regularly to make sure all features are working as intended, including latches, doors and run clips.

If you live in an area with lots of predators, including small ones like martens and weasels you might want to consider adding extra protection to your run.

Guinea pigs don't burrow like rabbits do, and their small feet need direct contact with the ground to avoid injuries and foot infections. Instead of underfloor mesh panels, our guinea pig runs come with anti-tunnel skirting around the outside of the run to prevent predators from digging in.

While the Eglu Go is made from strong materials that will withstand sharp guinea pig teeth, no hutch is completely chew-proof. Provide your guinea pigs with plenty of hay and chew toys to keep their growing teeth in shape, and make sure they get plenty of exercise and stimulation to minimize the risk of boredom.
Yes, you can buy just the hutch/hide by itself if you already have a run. Do however note that the hutch itself is too small to be the only living space for guinea pigs, and they should never be kept in with the door closed for longer periods of time
If for any reason you're not happy with your purchase you can return it to us for a full refund within 180 days. You will need to dismantle and pack up the hutch, so it's a good idea to keep the original boxes. The optional wheels can be used with or without a run, as they are fastened with brackets under the hutch. However, they are most effective when you have a run, as the hutch can then be moved by lifting the run.
Dispensing slightly on where you live and how cold it gets, the hutch is designed as an all-year home, and the insulation will keep your guinea pigs cozy in winter. In fact, most guinea pigs are very good at handling colder temperatures and will gradually grow a thicker coat in winter and moving them in and out is likely to be more harmful. You can help them by adding more hay and straw to the hutch, provide shelter with covers and hides on the run, or add a Extreme Temperature Jacketto the Eglu Go.
Baby guinea pigs should be kept indoors until they are approximately 6-8 weeks old. Slowly introduce them to the outdoor world during a week or two, starting with 15 minutes and then gradually extending the time every day. This is to make sure their bodies get used to the outdoor temperature, as well as letting their tummies adapt to eating grass.

I have 2 eglus that I purchased. They are really easy to clean, my piggies love them and the wheels make it so easy to move around. We had a couple of foxes come in our garden one night and the dug under the run and under the hutch and gave up as they realized they would not get in. I was soooo happy that we got these as i can sleep at night knowing my piggies are safe. I would highly recomment this product (7 yr old eglus)

Can’t get over just how good this hutch is and how much my pigs love it. Heaps of space. Super easy to assemble with 2m run. Instructions very clear although not enough written content. Super sturdy and easy to move. Very good quality, should last for years. Came in two days of order, super fast. Very impressed.

I am loving the Eglu Go Guinea Pig hutch with 2 min run, and wish I'd bought one years ago. Tough, durable, and so roomy for the guinea pigs, it is faultless. Took a bit to assemble, but that would be the worker not the tools (I'm not great at assembly but got there in the end!) It's such a welcome addition to our backyard. And the guinea pigs are noticeably more active and I feel the little igloo like home is really toasty for them overnight and on cooler days.

This is the best hutch on the market in terms of funtionality and quality. The back door of the hutch does catch a bit if there is even the slightest uneven ground, which is a bit annoying. Other than that very happy with it.
