Latest Product Reviews For Eglu Go Guinea Pig Hutch with 3ft Run - Leaf Green
Mixed Feelings - Lisa,
I bought this a few weeks ago for our two new guinea pigs. We have a fair amount of wildlife in our garden so I was searching for something that was 'predator / fox' proof. In hindsight, I believe I focused too much on this element and not enough on some other important considerations. Eg. once the house is closed, its completely dark in there.. theres no happy medium its either all or nothing interms of door open or closed. The ability to move the pen around the garden is tricky and the house is really damaging on the grass. Im sure the wheels and handle would help with that somewhat but it still is heavy on the grass. In hindsight, I wish we'd have bought a static hutch and a moveable run for the garden.

Omlet Says: Hi Lisa, Thank you for your feedback. We would like to reassure you in regards to the darkness in the hutch. Guinea pigs are entirely comfortable in complete darkness and appreciate to have a place to hide. These rodents are adept at navigating subterranean networks of tunnels or dense undergrowth and are highly reliant on touch, smell, sound and memory to navigate their hutch in the dark. The hutch and its run can be moved with the help of the wheels, so we would highly recommend for you to add these to your hutch if you are planning to move the structure often. When moving the hutch, it won't be as near to the grass, which should prevent the damage to your grass. If you would prefer to have a separate run, it is possible with our Zippi Run range , availablehere. These runs can also be connected to your existing hutch and run with our Zippi tunnels . Don't hesitate to contact us for any further information. Kind Regards, Clémence, Omlet Customer Services team
So easy to use! - Mel,
I am so pleased I took the plunge and went for this hutch/run combo. It ticks all the boxes for us - coco and haze have the freedom to run in and out all day without me having to worry about them.. we just open the hatch in the morning and shut it last thing at night. The hutch is so easy to clean with the removable tray. The free sun shade is great as it not only protects from sun but also from the rain so I find the girls in the run grazing even when it’s raining. I love that it’s on the floor so I can relax when my boys want to stroke and play with their Guinea pigs and I don’t have to worry about them falling out of their hutch. Cage is easy to manoeuvre onto fresh grass. I just use a dustpan and brush to sweep up the droppings on the grass. A stress free hutch and animal life for us!

Great home - Gary, Yorkshire,
Brought as we have an exposed garden and wanted a home that would last multiple pets. The cage is a bit of a fiddle to build but secure. I wish the double clips were available to buy more of. Easy to clean. The main door can be a bit difficult to open and shut when on longer grass but can't work out why

Hutch and run are fantastic - Andrew,
I have had this hutch and run for a few weeks and I am very glad I did. The first night it was in the garden I woke to see a fox standing on it! Security is important and this does not disappoint. The only disappointment is the water bottle, I have had 2 and the both drip constantly depositing the complete contents in to the hutch over about 8 hours! Which given the overall cost of the package is poor. I have bought a different design and the problem is solved.

Omlet Says: Hi Andrew, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We are sorry to read that you experienced some trouble with two of our water bottles. They should indeed not leak. You could try the following : fill the bottle, turn it upside down and shake it. Some water will come out, but inside the bottle a vacuum will form. Important: the bottle should be then kept upside down and put it in the hay rack. Normally, it should not leak anymore. However, if after trying this, your bottles are still leaking, there might be another issue. If that is the case, please come back in touch with us by phone or by email, so that we can understand the source of this problem and find a solution for you. Yours, Omlet Customer Service Team
Extremely well made - Derek,
Excellent product. Only improvement would be to add some form of handle on the hutch to make it easier to move to fresh grass
