We had one of the usual wire crates for Snoops but felt it was too confined for space, especially since the two of us work and he has to be left alone at times. The Fido Studio 36 gives him plenty of room to move, play with his toys, have his treats, water, etc, in all one place. Wee Snoops is definitely more happy and content since purchasing the Fido Studio. Unfortunately he managed to chew the zip of his bed and start to rip out the stuffing, but that's only because he does this with everything - lol. The wardrobe is definitely an added bonus for keeping his treats, toys, etc all in one place. Best thing we've ever bought for Snoops so far.
Whether you have an existing dog, or new family member, this product is (by far!!) an absolute must have. I have two young pups (10mths and 5mths) and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
Omlet have done well with the instructions however, if you're purchasing the crate + wardrobe, use the instructions that come in the wardrobe box as it has the full suite of left/right wardrobe + crate construction. I started with the instructions in the crate panel box and ended up with a wee brainteaser when I started on the wardrobe part.
Product is easy to put together and I love they way the fasteners are all contained in one plastic bag with separate compartments.
The bed is made to an extremely high quality. Comparable quality to beds you would find in most good pet shops without the hefty price tag.
There is simply nothing to complain about in relation to this product - everything from speed of shipping, prompt customer service if you need it, ease of construction, and pleasing aesthetics on completion to complement any decor - my list of pros is endless.
If you are hesitant about deciding whether or not to invest in an Omlet Crate, then don't. You will not be disappointed and neither will your dog. I will be purchasing another crate when Mr 5mths grows to full size together with additional accessories without hesitation.
We are really pleased with this dog crate. Would highly recommend.
Everyone needs a space to call their own. I'm sure my boys get tired of me and wanna go to their own room and so I happily obliged. Doing tons of research and scouring the internet I found the Omlet Fido Studio and it fit the bill perfectly. I settled on the larger 36 because I have 3 smaller doggos that could share. So far so good. Tired of humans? Off to the Omlet Studio they go. One or all three they fit perfectly. The little closet attachment works great to keep their goodies out of site and even added the mirror. The tote to keep the toys in spot comes in handy for the OCD humans such as myself. I decided to add some decoration to the room also just to make it home for them. A group picture of course is hung inside along with a little TV because every kid wants a TV in their room. Overall the Studio has been a perfect addition to my home and the boys all approve!
I love the wardrobe compartment, when you have all the extras you have stacks of storage which is great as I can tidy the toys into a basket now and have a proper home for the lead on the hook and a coat on the rail. When I looked at the crate before it arrived I didn't really think I would be that bothered about the wardrobe but now it is here I love it, I keep a pack of treats in there as well as the toys. It means it's so easy just to get some treats out and do a bit of training, not spending half an hour hunting down some treats first. The product is really good quality, not like your Ikea flat pack, it is really sturdy. It looks stylish, it doesn't look like an ugly dog crate. The wardrobe is a great feature for storage, there is also a tray in the bottom of the crate for any accidents. However this doesn't slide out like it does in a normal stand alone dog crate, you do have to pull it out at an angle, so if there was an accident, it would drip off the tray onto the wooden base. So I do feel that this could perhaps have been designed better. The bed that you can buy with the crate is really luxurious and looks stylish in there too. The crate doesn't have to be set up with the wardrobe on a particular side, you can have the door of the crate on the other side and you can also put the wardrobe on the other side too so it is quite versatile. Having two doors is great too as you can leave them both open which helps if you have a dog that isn't used to a crate and you are training him/her to go in, you can just leave both doors open and the dog can make the decision to go and lie down.
Fantastic crate. Only had my pup one week and she absolutely loves it. Not a sound during night she is so comfortable
I purchased the Omlet Fido dog studio for my Dachshund moose, she adores the space, and it’s all hers, when the cats aren’t around, initially my naughty puppy decided to eat the bed, as it’s soooooo lovely, but I managed to thwart that approach, she immediately stole her toys under the mattress for safety . I use the cupboard to store her necessaries and we’ve not looked back!!!! I have always been impressed with their chicken homes and have had many a happy safe chicken ! X I was impressed by their recycling and ethics and the materials and colour used! I do like a funky pet!
So when I saw the Fido studio I knew I was on to a winner, very very pleased easily cleanable lovely looking bed for my woofer, thank you Omlet
The Fido Studio arrived promptly and after a few hours (I’m not very quick with flat-pack!), with great step by step instructions, the Studio was complete. It looks great, and fits in perfectly with the rest of our kitchen furniture, many compliments have been made by our friends.
Our new Pomeranian puppy loves it too, we keep the doors open during the day and he happily goes in himself for naps. At night we close the doors for his safety, and he never complains as he feels secure and happy in it. The wardrobe/cupboard is a brilliant addition to the crate, keeping all his doggy food/paper mats/harness and lead etc. out of the way and tidy.
A fantastic purchase, thank you!
Aesthetics are very important to us. In the countdown to the arrival of Bowie, our Italian Greyhound pup (whippet cross) I was feeling dread over having to accommodate an ugly crate in our small, but considered, house. Idly searching the internet I came across the Fido Studio 24 (WITH WARDROBE!) and there was no going back. I'm all for throwing money at the problem, and it really paid off in this case. Bowie is happy, we are over the moon, and our friends with an eye for design who now have puppies see it all with fresh eyes. We are all cock-a-hoop with it. Thank goodness for Omlet, our standards haven't dropped: owning a pet doesn't need to be ugly!
Husband easily put this together. Didn't realise cushion was separate so had to order this separately. Well worth it though as puppy very happy in his
