Valencian Figurita
History
Translated the word ‘Figurita’ means ‘dainty’ or ‘petite’, which is a good description of this bright eyed bird. The Figurita is also an alert and intelligent bird with a well defined breast with it’s sharp angular head. Although other colours are possible white stands out as the most favourable amongst keepers both young and old. The Valencian Figurita is mainly for show but proves itself well in flight. The Tunisian and Syrian Owl are said to be the Figuritas nearest relative bearing close resemblances to each other.
