Hentertainment of the Highest Order
Your birds love to perch and not just in their house at night. During the day you've probably noticed that they will happily hop onto a wheelbarrow handle, the back of a chair or even on the edge of flower pot. It’s an instinct that comes from the very earliest chickens that lived in forests and today's domestic hens still have a natural desire to perch from the highest available point.

Fits All Chicken Runs
Whether you have an Eglu Chicken Coop, a Walk in Run or a DIY chicken coop… the Omlet Chicken Perch will fit them all. This innovative perch for chickens has a special connector which clamps around any chicken wire or chicken mesh leaving a secure and very neat looking finish. It’s one of the easiest and cheapest ways you can add a perch to your chicken run that your hens will use every day.

Specifications
Made from naturally weather resistant eucalyptus, the perch is a comfortable size for bantams as well as large breeds of chickens to grip. Eucalyptus is a very hard and strong wood, as it's a natural material you will find some splitting along the length of the pole, this is not a defect and is part of the wood's characteristics. It comes untreated, you can use it straight out the box or you can use a pet safe varnish, paint or wood stain.

Great for the chickens, slight concern in quality - Marissa, Virginia,

My chickens absolutely love this perch! I also like it - especially design of the attachments, as they can swivel and therefore be configured in many different ways in the run. Unfortunately, the 2 wooden pieces of my 6ft perch both came with some cracks in them, and after a week of having the perch out I can already see that the integrity of the perch is weakening. Given the price, this quality issue is a big disappointment, especially considering that I love the product itself. Overall, I am happy with the product, but disappointed that I'll probably end up having to purchase another soon due to the cracks.

Omlet Says: Hi Marissa, thank you for leaving us a review. The perches are made from naturally weather resistant eucalyptus. Eucalyptus is a very hard and strong wood, as it's a natural material you will find some splitting along the length of the pole, this is not a defect and is part of the wood's characteristics. I would like to assure you, the perch should not weaken over time regardless of these cracks. Please feel free to keep an eye on this and contact us if you have any further concerns.

Easy to install - Erika,

I was able to easily install this on a bitterly cold Christmas Day, so my hens could have a present !

Nice perch - Patricia, Texas,

I added the 6 ft perch to the walk in run, very easy to put up and it does not move/twist around like a branch would. I just ordered the 3 ft perch to put lower so they have options. Great product.

Love it! - Courtney, Indiana,

My chickens LOVE this. I went with the 6ft option instead of the 3ft because I have eight birds and I was worried they would "argue" over who got to sit on it. I just installed it yesterday (super easy to put together) - it took them about a day to get over their suspicion of the new object enough to try it out. Three chickens are sitting on it now, happy as can be, and there's room for the others when they're ready to hop on up!
