Hi there. I have a male budgie for almost two years. He had a male pair once but died a year ago. He has been a bit aggressive for the past one year but now he is being excessively aggressive. He bites my finger(especially the thumb) really hard. He also regurgitate his seeds. He worries me a lot. Please reply me asap. P.s..he is not tamed.

My female budgie was great for going back to her cage to sleep. Now she only returns to eat and drink and she is really quiet. Before I would put YouTube videos on with budgies and she would dive bomb me until I did. Now she just sits on top of a couple of mirrors I have on the wall and she hangs upside down and stares at herself which she was doing before. But now she will not go in the cage.

My budgie nibbles my hand. It's as if he's kissing my hand; he's very affectionate. He also likes to bite my fingers when I play with him, but he never bites hard; he's never been mean to me; he just nibbles when he's being affectionate. He seems to enjo playing the "cat and mouse" game in his cage; he's a very interactive little bugger; and he regurgitates seeds on my hand every now and again. He prefers to stay in his cage, and do a few fly-bys of the room, so I keep the cage open all the time. As much freedom as he has, he prefers his cage. He has become quite attached to his bell. I believe I am in a love triangle with the bell. Ha!

My bird all of a sudden started flying away more and bitting my finger it is so weird because he used to attack everyone except me and my mom ever sence we got him almost a year ago 10 and a half months to be specific is it because of matting season if so when will it pass should I bring him to the vet if it doesn't resolve within the next month

Hi Our budgie megatron, has been hand tamed and has been an absolute delight to have. However around 4 days ago he decided he didn't want anything to do with me or my partner. He still sings when we're around but will only get on our hands for a second and won't come out of his cage. Is this normal for a budgie to change behaviour in this way? Thanks!

My budgie was very aggressive and would not let me be by him because he was not hand fed so I tried to train him and it’s been a year and nothing has happened but today he is all of a sudden letting me touch him and be calm by me is this normal?

I have an 8 month old male budgie who is an only bird. I have tamed him and he sits quite happily on me. In the last week he has become very aggressive and is biting my face. I suspect it’s hormones but how long is this likely to last. It’s too painful to ignore but I don’t want to frighten him so I have firmly just told him “no” and tried to turn my face away from him. I hope it is just a phase that will pass, any advice please

My young blue budgie, Rascal, has become aggressive and bites when we try to take him out of the cage. He is also sometimes aggressive to the other budgie, Skids, in the cage in a real angry manner to peck it (sex unknown yet). He is also very destructive with perches we put in the cage, he will immediately strip all the bark off, and the toys we put in there. It is almost as though he becomes feral. Gone is the lovely cute budgie that liked to play. What can we do?

Hi my budgie is constantly trying to get out of her cage. She has even dislodged the seed tray and got out. Is this normal behaviour?
