My favorite breed! - Kristen,
I have one Japanese Bantam, so take this review with a grain of salt but she is my sweetest chicken. Calm, easy for the kids to pick up, happy to be cuddled or left alone to roam in the coop. Hasn't gotten broody yet, I average 3-4 small eggs a week from her. It's a warm winter and my girls get plenty of protein but all my bantams are still laying! Marshmallow doesn't try to run out of the coop when the kids or I come in. Such a sweetie!
good - Joel,
ok
good but not garden friendly - Abbas,
Very nice rooster. However, very bad garden.
Great Pets - Summer,
We ended up with two littlw Japanese Bantam roos by accident. They are non aggressive and just sweet little guys. They have shown no interest in mating with any of our small hens, but curl up to sleep with the kids and cats quite willingly.
Awesome breed - Caitlyn,
